My Heart

God brought me through the fire into this business for a reason. I trust that if I am meant to work with you, my story will resonate with you and you'll reach out.

I help individuals and entrepreneurs build a life of intention and purpose from a place of inner confidence and resilience through life and leadership coaching and business strategy consulting.

GUIDING YOUR HEART AND YOUR BUSINESS

My Background

My Bachelors degree is in Business Administration, Majoring in Accounting. My career in corporate America spanned about 20 years touching a wide range of industries. My experience was largely in operations, systems, and my favorite roles were in strategic planning and development and project management.

I chose to resign at the beginning of 2020, just before COVID hit. There is a whole story about the leap of faith it took for me to become a homeschooling stay-at-home mom at that point.

How I Ended Up Coaching

I knew there was a calling on my life. There was also a lot of confusion and frustration about what exactly that was and how to walk it out. I felt stuck and overwhelmed. Sound familiar?

It was my own need for a coach that opened the door to me exploring this as a career. I didn't set out to be a coach right away, I had to follow a trail of breadcrumbs as God led me deeper into unfamiliar territory. It was so far outside of my comfort zone to promote myself and charge for my time. But, every obstacle taught me an invaluable lesson.

I pursued certification in Life and Leadership Coaching to lend some credibility to my venture, even though certification and credentials are not technically required to operate in this business. It wasn't until after I started classes that I realized how important that training is. It helped me grow so much personally through it.

The honest truth is that I didn't know which institution would give the better education, so I did both. I have my CCLC (Certified Christian Leadership Coach) from CAM (Coach Approach Ministries), an accredited program with the ICF (International Coaching Federation). I also have my PLC (Professional Life Coach) from Light University, accredited by the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors). I am committed to being a lifelong learner and to pursue higher levels of credentials through the ICF.

Business Coaching Scam

I quickly realized that starting an online business was not what they taught in business school. Like most new entrepreneurs, I needed help.

I fell for a business coaching pitch. They were going to help me step by step start converting high-ticket sales to $10K months within 3-6 months! What I got was thousands of dollars gone and water from a fire hose on all things marketing and sales psychology.

Thrown into Zoom group calls with 40 others and going through online courses to learn all the latest technology and trends on managing your online business - except I still didn't have an online business. Don't get me wrong, I learned a ton, but I didn't get the one-on-one help I needed to tailor the enormous amount of information into what my business needed to focus on next. I was a maze of rabbit holes that weren't even connected. Running so fast on a hamster wheel that is going no where. Sound familiar?

What's so bad, is that I fell for it again after that! This one said they were different. They were really going to walk with me hand in hand to get my business up and thriving. Except it was more of the same. Large Zoom group calls, tons of tools, systems, and trends. I still had no viable business by the time they split from that company and left me with nothing but recorded courses.

At this point I was so far in the hole, I almost gave up. But, I knew that I was called into this by God with every bread crumb He laid out for me to follow. If He brought me this far, there was a reason I got to learn all this stuff!

It took a lot of processing with God, a few turns around the mountain with a lot more training from top thought leaders in business management and productivity, and another big leap of faith as I set out to launch myself again.

Through The Fire

Throughout all the training and spinning my wheels trying to get my own business off the ground, I was going through one trial by fire after another.

My family faced unimaginable challenges, grief, custody disputes, strained family dynamics, crisis of health and so much that I am not at liberty to share. This season of trials seemed like a series of unfortunate and tragic events that we were powerless to divert. The only way was straight through the thick of it.

Losing my husband was by far the hardest blow. Suddenly and unexpectedly, he was gone. My step daughters moved back with their mother. From a family of 6 to a family of 3 overnight. My heart still holds space for all of them, but my household is a very different reality from day to day.

I know I am standing today because God held me and strengthened me through this season of battle tested faith.

Nothing Wasted

During COVID, like many with cabin-fever, I became little Lara Ingle on the Prairie. I was proud of my garden and my compost pile. A prophetic word spoken over me one prayer service still rings in my ears to this day as I was contemplating all that I had spent and all that I had worked so hard for with this business with nothing to show for it after the first year and a half.

That word said that NOTHING IS WASTED. What I have sown into the soil that didn't bear fruit, is returned to the compost and further enriches the soil for the next crop.

God's redeeming word. He doesn't let one ounce of suffering go to waste. He turns all things together for our good.

My Pain For Your Progress

There was a reason I went through all that extra training. It prepared me to do for others what those business coaching scams failed to do for me.

I now take entrepreneurs by the hand and guide them through what to focus on next as they build their businesses. Hand in hand, tailored to where they are in the process of forming or realizing their vision.

There was a reason I walked through fire across broken glass in my personal life in the middle of all this. I discovered so much about myself and God's purpose through the pain.

Now, coaching is a part of me in every interaction. It fundamentally changed the way I interact with people in the best possible ways. What I have learned flows out of me and God is using it to guide people through real and lasting transformation.

If you need a guide, let's have a conversation and see how I can help you live intentionally with purpose from a place of resilient confidence in who you are and what you were made for.

Clarity for Your Life. Strategy for Your Business.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Dual Certified Life and Leadership Coach?

Certification and credentials in Life Coaching are not technically required to operate in this business, but I feel a responsibility to be educated and accountable. The honest truth is that I didn't know which institution would give the better education, so I did both. I have my CCLC from CAM, an accredited program with the ICF. I also have my PLC from Light University, accredited by the AACC. I am committed to continuing to pursue higher levels of credentials through the ICF.

What is Coaching? Is it the Same as Therapy?

Coaching is a forward-focused, collaborative process that helps you gain clarity, align your life or leadership with what matters most, and take intentional steps forward. It’s about where you are now, where you want to go, and how to move there with purpose—strengthening your mindset, decision-making, and follow-through along the way.

Coaching is not the same as therapy. Therapy often focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions and processing past trauma, while coaching is not clinical and does not provide medical or psychological treatment. If deeper therapeutic support is needed, I will always encourage you toward the right resource—because moving forward well starts with the right kind of support.

What industries do you specialize in, and can you help businesses of all sizes?

I’ve worked across a wide range of industries—including legal, accounting, healthcare, transportation, banking, manufacturing, and coaching—primarily in roles focused on operations, systems, and strategic planning. While each industry has its nuances, the core principles that create clarity, efficiency, and growth tend to overlap.

My primary focus now is supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs who are building something meaningful and want to function with greater clarity and alignment. Whether you’re just getting started or refining what already exists, I meet you where you are and help identify practical next steps forward. After an initial consultation, I’ll be honest about whether I’m the right fit—or help point you in the direction of someone who is.
